LoanSafe | Product Release

This update outlines the enhancements included in Release R102610 for the LoanSafe product suite. Deployment is scheduled for October 15, 2026, at 1:00 a.m. This release includes general maintenance updates and routine security enhancements. These improvements optimize overall system performance and ensure our application remains protected against known security vulnerabilities.

1. Enhancements:

• Superfund Alert Logic Enhancement (HP_042)

  • Improved the HP_042 Superfund alert logic to reduce unnecessary alerts by evaluating current EPA NPL site statuses. Properties associated with active NPL sites will continue to generate alerts, while inactive or removed sites will no longer trigger HP_042.

• Improved Accuracy of Superfund Alerts

  • Updated the Superfund screening process to improve alert accuracy when facility location coordinates are unavailable. The enhanced fallback logic incorporates additional location validation methods to better determine geographic relevance and reduce alerts generated solely from county-level matching. This helps ensure that Superfund alerts more accurately reflect potential proximity to identified sites.

• Conditional Display of Superfund Details

  • Updated LoanSafe to display the Superfund Site section only when a Superfund alert is generated and enabled for the client. This change aligns report content with client alert configurations and reduces unnecessary information when the Superfund alert is not in use.

  An EPA Superfund (SEMS) site has been identified in proximity to the subject property. The site may currently be listed on, or historically associated with, the EPA National Priorities List (NPL). • Customer Action Required

  • The HP_042 Superfund Site alert is being reintroduced in this release as a new alert.

  • The original HP_042 alert was previously removed to address an issue that caused the alert to fire unexpectedly. Because the alert has been recreated as a new alert, previous custom configurations associated with the original HP_042 will need to be reconfigured.

  • Customers who have customized HP_042 should review and update their configuration after the release to ensure that the alert aligns with their desired business rules.

2. Encompass Partner Connect (EPC) Enhancement:

Name Parsing Service Enhancement

Encompass Partner Connect (EPC) now uses a name parsing service to more accurately identify first name, middle name, last name, and suffix values from free-text contact fields. Key improvements include:

• Improved handling of compound and multi-word surnames (e.g., "De La Torre", "de la Cruz", "bin Salman").

• Enhanced support for surname particles and prefixes commonly used across different cultures and languages.

• Improved recognition and preservation of hyphenated last names.

• Expanded suffix detection and validation for common suffixes such as Jr., Sr., II, III, Esq., PhD, and MD.

• Improved parsing of names containing initials, apostrophes, and compound surnames.

• Added logic to prevent non-suffix values from being incorrectly assigned to the suffix field.

• Introduced confidence-based parsing rules and fallback logic to improve name assignment when parsing ambiguous names.

These enhancements help improve downstream watchlist screening accuracy by increasing the reliability of last name identification and reducing the risk of missed matches caused by incorrectly parsed contact names.

3. Bug Fix:

REO Alert Display and Clearance Fix

Resolved an issue that could prevent certain REO-related alerts from being cleared because associated address information wasn't displaying correctly in LoanSafe Connect.
